In short

Kokoarum is a showcase website: it has no forms, no customer accounts, no audience measurement tools and no advertising. We never sell or rent out any data.

Connection data

As with any website, our hosting provider LWS (Ligne Web Services, 10 rue Penthièvre, 75008 Paris, France) automatically records technical logs when you visit: IP address, date and time, page viewed and browser type.

This data is used solely to keep the site running and secure (legal basis: legitimate interest). It is kept for a limited period, in line with the hosting provider’s legal obligations.

Language choice

When you change language or close the language suggestion banner, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. This information stays on your device, is never sent to anyone and is only used to display the site in your language. It does not require consent.

You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser’s browsing data.

Fonts (Google Fonts)

The site’s fonts are loaded from Google’s servers (Google Fonts). Your browser therefore sends your IP address to Google, which may process it outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. Google Fonts does not set cookies (legal basis: legitimate interest in displaying the site correctly).

Facebook posts (Events page)

The Events page can show our latest posts through a plugin provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. This plugin is only loaded if you accept: your browser then connects to Meta’s servers, which may collect data (IP address, browser information and, if you are logged in to Facebook, your account) and set cookies. This processing is governed by Meta’s privacy policy.

Legal basis: your consent. Your choice is stored for 6 months in your browser’s local storage, after which you will be asked again. You can change it at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. Cookies already set by Meta can be deleted in your browser settings.

Phone and email

If you contact us by phone or email (for example to book a table), your contact details and message are used solely to reply and handle your request. They are not passed on to third parties and are deleted once no longer needed. Our email service is provided by Google (Gmail).

Links to other websites

Links to Facebook, Instagram and Google Maps take you off our site: any data processed on these platforms is governed by their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email us at kokoarum@gmail.com.

If, after contacting us, you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
